Are you ready for a Hawaiian vacation at one of Oahu’s newest and best resorts? Get away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki and come and enjoy the gorgeous Ko Olina area with us as we celebrate our new life together!
We’ll be holding our wedding ceremony at a resort called Aulani, a Disney Resport & Spa.
会場にはディズニー アウラニ リゾート＆スパを予約しました。
The ceremony will be held on March 1st, 2015 at 10:00 AM on the ‘AMA’AMA Patio.
Our reception will be held at 11:00 AM in the Ka’ala Ballroom, and will be catered by Aulani’s master chefs! To get an idea of the kind of food we’ll be enjoying, take a look at a sample menu from the ‘AMA’AMA restaurant.
Most of our guests choose to stay in Aulani’s Standard Room (above). Normal room rates start at about $550 per night, but we have a special wedding rate of $299/night (plus tax). Guests can also choose from the studio ($299), 1-bedroom ($399), and 2-bedroom ($649) vacation villas, which are different from standard rooms in that 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom suites include in-room kitchen and laundry facilities in addition to a sitting area, which studios include a sitting area and kitchenette. (Laundry is available on 1st floor for $1/load).
How to Reserve a Room どうやって部屋を予約するの？
To reserve a room, you will need to call the Group Reservations Office at +1-407-827-6799. The office is open every day from 8:30am to 6:00pm. To reserve a room, you will need the bride and groom’s last names, as well as our GROUP CODE, which we will send to you. You will be required to leave a deposit for the first night’s stay when you reserve the room.
It is very helpful to tell us in advance, if you haven’t already, which room you would like to stay in, and which nights you plan to stay there, so we can add it to our room block, which we will hold through November. (The room block is useful so people have more time to make their reservations. It also helps us understand who will be staying with us at Aulani, and for how long.)
Aulani itself offers a wide variety of activities, both onsite and nearby, to keep vacationers busy. Check out Aulani’s activity page for more information.
In addition to enjoying Aulani’s extensive swimming pools (including both family-friendly and adult-only pools), water slides, lazy river, and artificial salt-water reef, you might want to go to the beach and swim in the ocean, rent one of Aulani’s kayaks to go sea kayaking, book a cruise on a sailboat, go snorkeling in a nearby lagoon, or reserve your space on a scuba diving trip.
If you’re a golf enthusiast, you won’t want to miss the chance to visit Hawaii’s top-rated golf course at Ko Olina Golf Club–it’s just across the street from the Aulani resort! Other popular activities including horseback riding and hiking excursions, which can be booked both privately, or directly through Aulani. (Check out their information here.)
Aulani has its own stores on site, of course, but if you’d like to go shopping in Hawaii, there are some good options available to you. Ala Moana shopping center has nearly 300 stores and dozens of restaurants! High-end merchandise can be purchased tax-free at the local DFS Galleria shopping mall. There’s also Waikele Premium Outlets–check out their store listing here. On the other end of the spectrum, Target is only a hop, skip, and a jump away!
We’ll be updating this section with more detailed information soon, so please check back!
Getting to Hawaii
Getting from the Airport to the Resort
The best way to get to and from Aulani is through use of a service called SpeediShuttle, a shared shuttle service that costs $18 per person one-way between Honolulu International Airport and Aulani. The alternatives are taking a taxi (about $80 one-way plus tip!) or renting a car. Please note that Aulani charges a parking fee of $35 per day.
The best place to rent a car may well be at the Aulani Resort — there is an Alamo car rental service on the Aulani property, and some past guests recommend renting a car for a day and simply returning the car to Alamo at the end of the day to avoid paying Aulani’s $35/day parking fee. Of course, you can also arrange rental cars through a variety of companies at the Honolulu International Airport.
We’re honored that you can consider joining us on our special day. We hope this information is helpful, but we know you probably still have questions. Please feel free to contact us so we can help you out!
